Let me start by saying that I am a beauty product junkie. Products taking over my bathroom junkie. I MUST try this new product…and this one…and oooohhhh…that one, junkie.
I definitely have my ‘can’t live without’ beauty products, but the thrill of trying a new product that could possibly be life-changing for my face, hair or body is necessary for me. I can’t stop trying.
When I came across Elevynn, I knew that I had to try it. Elevynn currently offers a hair cleanser and conditioner. The products are sulfate-free, silicone-free, gluten-free, cruelty-free, and non-GMO. Pretty good.
According to Elevynn’s website, the Environmental Working Group (EWG) scores are 1 for the cleanser and 2 for the conditioner. Pretty great.
Things that I love:
The cleanser is very light, with a very subtle sudsy component.
The conditioner is creamy, but not too heavy.
My hair has been unusually softer after each use.
The packaging (yes, I’m one of those people who buy and try based on the packaging…I Like Pretty Things)
Things that I’m not into:
Although I like the Neroli Jasmine scent of the cleanser and conditioner (by way of essential oils), it is way too strong and overwhelming for me. If the scent was toned down a bit, it would be great.
The price was a bit much. Both products were a total of $25, before taxes and shipping. I’ve used comparable products at lesser price points.
