Dr. Bronner’s Castile Liquid Soap, 4 Ways

I’m a little late to the party…I just tried Dr. Bronner’s Castile Liquid Soap for the first time and I’m in love, lust, friendship, everything.

I purchased the lovely Almond scent to use primarily as a face wash and body wash. The soap comes in several other scents including Rose, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Citrus, Peppermint, Unscented, and Lavender. It also comes in a variety of sizes from 2 ounces to 1 gallon. The castile liquid soap is certified organic, fair trade, vegan, and non-GMO verified.

The almond scent is amazing, so I decided to also try the soap as a laundry detergent (for towels and sheets) and as a kitchen floor cleaner. See my measurements/DIY recipes below.

Face Wash
1 drop of almond castile soap
½ tsp. of honey

Mix well and apply to wet face. Rinse with water.

Body Wash/Scrub
3 drops of almond castile soap
¼ cup of brown sugar

Mix well in a small bowl, apply while in the shower or bath. Rinse with water.

Laundry Detergent
½ cup of almond castile soap
¼ of baking soda

Add soap and baking soda to laundry machine. Add a ½ cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle, if desired.

Floor Cleaner
1/3 cup of almond castile soap
2 gallons of water
2 drops of essential oil (I used bergamot)

Mix soap, water, and essential oil in a bucket. Apply to floor.

Enjoy!
