I’ve been a devoted Carol’s Daughter fan for a really long time. I fell in love with Healthy Hair Butter and the original Hair Milk back in the days when certain products needed to be refrigerated to maintain their natural freshness and some products couldn’t be shipped during the hot summer months.
A lot has changed about Carol’s Daughter over the years, like the fact that I can now pick up their products at my local Ulta, Target, or Sephora. The packaging has also gone through a few different phases, but my mainstay, Healthy Hair Butter, is still pretty much the same. Healthy Hair Butter doesn’t contain sulfates, parabens, petroleum, mineral oil, or artificial colors and is one of the beauty products that I can’t live without.
My hair is naturally wavy/frizzy/coarse and Healthy Hair Butter works wonders for me. Some of the ingredients include shea butter, jojoba oil, lemongrass oil, and cocoa seed butter.
A little goes a long way and the scent is kind of strong, in an earthy way, but it fades away after a bit. I use Healthy Hair Butter as a scalp conditioner after I wash my hair and on my ends, which are prone to dryness.
Other Carol’s Daughter products that I love include:
Hair Milk Original Leave-In Moisturizer
Macadamia Heat Protection Serum
Mimosa Hair Honey
